Shoofly Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. dark molasses
    3/4 c. boiling water
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. flour, sifted
    1/4 c. butter
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 unbaked pie crust
Preparation
    Mix molasses, water, baking soda, and salt together. In a separate bowl, mix flour, butter, and brown sugar; mix well.
    You may need to use your hands. Pour 1/3 molasses mixture into pie crust; pour 1/3 flour mixture on top. Continue to alternate layer, ending with flour mixture on top. Bake the pie at 375\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
