French Pork Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground pork
    1 lb. lean ground beef
    1 1/2 tsp. salt (optional)
    dash of pepper
    1 medium onion, diced fine
    1 c. water
    3 medium potatoes
    1 tsp. Bell's poultry seasoning
Preparation
    Cook over medium heat the meat, onion and cold water for 1 1/2 hours, stirring often. Drain fat.
    In a separate pan, boil the potatoes, then mash without milk or butter.
    Add mashed potatoes to meat mixture, a little at a time. Add poultry seasoning.
    Place in an uncooked pastry shell.
    Add a top crust.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for 20 minutes or until brown.
