Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter (2 sticks)
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
2 c. flour
2 Tbsp. water
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. baking powder
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each.
Sift flour three times.
Add one cup to mixture and mix well.
Add water and vanilla, then remaining cup of flour with the baking powder.
Pour into greased and floured tube pan.
Bake at 300\u00b0 for 45 minutes, then at 325\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
(All ingredients should be room temperature for best results.)
