Stuffed Green Peppers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium green peppers
    1 lb. lean ground beef
    1 c. soft bread crumbs
    1/3 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. Heinz Chili Sauce
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/2 c. grated cheese
    more Heinz chili sauce
Preparation
    Slice stem ends from peppers and scoop out seeds.
    Blanch peppers in boiling water for 2 to 3 minutes.
    Drain well.
    Season inside of peppers with salt and pepper.
    Combine beef and next 6 ingredients.
    Stuff peppers with meat mixture and place in a buttered 2 quart casserole dish.
    Cover and bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 55 minutes.
    Remove from oven.
    Top peppers with cheese and chili sauce.
    Bake uncovered for 5 minutes longer.
