Chicken Broth - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 large chicken breasts
1/4 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. chopped carrots
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1 bay leaf
1/8 tsp. oregano leaves
4 c. water (add water when needed)
Preparation

In a large pot, combine all ingredients.
Cook for 2 hours. Remove chicken and strain broth; chill.
Discard fat from broth. Broth can be frozen.
Use to cook potatoes, vegetables, cornbread dressing, dumplings or gravy.
Refrigerate no more than 2 days. Chicken breasts can be used for salad, dressings, noodles, soup, stir-fry or chicken enchiladas.
