Mexican Corn Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 lb. ground meat
1/2 lb. grated cheese (any kind of yellow cheese)
1 c. yellow corn meal
1 c. milk
4 fresh jalapeno peppers, chopped fine or out of jar
1 large onion, chopped
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 or 2 cans yellow creamed corn
1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation

Brown meat and onion; set aside.
Grate cheese; set aside. Combine corn meal, soda, milk, corn, salt and peppers.
Heat a large, deep skillet.
Grease and sprinkle corn meal over bottom of skillet.
Put in half of batter, then layer meat mixture and grated cheese, then add remaining batter.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes.
