Miracle Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. butter or 1 stick oleo
    1 small can evaporated milk
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
    1 (7 oz.) jar Marshmallow Creme
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    walnut halves or pecans
Preparation
    Combine sugar, butter, milk and salt in 4-quart mixing bowl. Microwave, uncovered, on High for 3 minutes. Stir until well blended.
    Microwave, uncovered, on High for 6 or 7 minutes or until mixture boils and forms a soft ball in cold water.
    Add chocolate pieces and stir until melted.
    Fold in Marshmallow Creme and vanilla until well blended.
    Pour into a buttered 13 x 9-inch baking dish.
    Refrigerate several hours until firm.
    Cut into squares.
    Top each square with walnut halves.
    Makes 72 squares.
