Cherry Jello Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. cherry jello
    1 small can crushed pineapple, undrained
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
    1 can cherry pie filling
    4 oz. cream cheese
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/4 c. sour cream
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Dissolve jello in 2 cups hot water.
    When slightly jelled, add pineapple, nuts and pie filling.
    Mix cream cheese, sugar, sour cream and vanilla and spread over top of jelled salad.
