Spanish Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 slices bacon
    1/2 lb. hamburger
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    2 c. water
    1 c. uncooked rice (1 instant bag)
    1 (16 oz.) can Italian crushed tomatoes
    1 tsp. chili powder
    1/2 tsp. oregano
    1 1/4 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Fry bacon and drain on paper towels.
    Cook hamburger and onion in a large skillet until brown.
    Drain.
    Stir in all other ingredients.
    Heat to boiling.
    Reduce heat.
    Cover and simmer approximately 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Yields 6 servings.
