Chocolate Cherry Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 baked chocolate cakes
    1 pkg. instant chocolate pudding mix
    2 envelopes dessert topping mix
    1 1/4 c. cold milk
    1 can cherry pie filling
Preparation
    Cool baked cake layers.
    In small bowl, combine pudding, topping mixes and milk; beat with electric mixer until stiff. Place 1 cake layer, flat side down on serving plate.
    Use about 1 cup of pudding mixture and make a ring 1/2 inch high on top of cake.
    Fill center of ring with cherry pie filling.
    Place second layer on top.
    Put remaining mixture on top, then cherry filling. Chill 1 hour.
    Makes 12 to 16 servings.
