Chess Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. brown sugar
    1/2 c. white sugar
    2 sticks margarine
    4 eggs
    pinch of salt
    2 c. self-rising flour
    1 c. nuts
Preparation
    Mix sugars, eggs, salt and margarine in double boiler and heat just until melted.
    Remove from heat.
    Add flour and nuts.
    Mix well and put in greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 until light crust forms on top.
    Sprinkle powdered sugar on top. Let cool and cut in squares.
