Sour Cream Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. diced potatoes
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 c. boiling water
    1 small onion, sliced
    2 c. sour cream
    minced parsley (optional)
Preparation
    Combine first five ingredients and cook together for 15 minutes.
    Add cream and cook until potatoes are tender.
    Serve hot. Garnish with parsley (optional).
    Makes 6 servings.
