Ingredients

1 box white or yellow cake mix
1 large carton sour cream
1 c. sugar
1 c. coconut
1 small carton Cool Whip
Preparation

Bake cake as directed in 9-inch cake pans.
Cool; cut layers into and fill with the sour cream, sugar and coconut that has been mixed together.
Reserve 1 cup of the filling and add to the Cool Whip to frost cake.
Then sprinkle coconut on top, if desired.
