Date Raisin Bran Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (15 oz.) pkg. Raisin Bran flakes
    5 c. flour
    2 1/2 to 3 c. sugar
    5 tsp. baking soda
    2 tsp. salt
    1 qt. buttermilk
    1 c. vegetable oil
    4 unbeaten eggs
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. chopped dates
    1/2 or 1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    In large bowl, put in Raisin Bran flakes and pour buttermilk over flakes; let stand 10 to 15 minutes.
    Combine rest of ingredients; mix until well blended.
    Fill muffin cups quite full. Bake at 400\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
