German Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 lb. red potatoes
    1 small onion, chopped
    1 medium green pepper, chopped
    salt and pepper to taste
    6 slices bacon, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
    1/2 c. bacon drippings
    1/2 c. cider vinegar
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 eggs, beaten
Preparation
    Boil potatoes in jackets until done.
    Cool, peel and dice. Add onions, green peppers, salt and pepper and mix well.
    Fry bacon pieces until crisp and drain.
    Add 1/2 to salad; mix again. Set rest of bacon aside.
