Roasted Corn Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 ears corn (in husks)
    5 slices (about 6 oz.) thick-sliced apple-smoked bacon
    3/4 lb. all-purpose potatoes, peeled and finely diced
    3 Tbsp. unsalted butter
    1 1/2 c. finely diced sweet onion
    2 celery ribs, finely diced
    1 Tbsp. minced garlic
    1 tsp. cumin
    1/4 c. masa harina or flour
    4 c. chicken broth
    1/2 c. each milk and heavy cream
    1/4 c. chopped fresh cilantro
    1/2 tsp. each salt and black pepper
    1/4 tsp. hot pepper sauce
    1 large tomato, finely diced
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0. Soak corn in cold water 30 minutes; drain.
