Casserole Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. dry yeast
    2 c. warm water
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 Tbsp. shortening
    4 1/2 c. flour
    1 c. shredded Co-Jack cheese
Preparation
    In a large bowl, stir yeast and water together. Add sugar, salt and shortening. Stir until dissolved. Add flour and beat 2 minutes with spoon.
    Cover batter with greased wax paper.
    Let rise in warm place until triple in bulk (35 to 40 minutes). Beat with spoon for 1/2 minute.
    Pour into greased 1 1/2-quart casserole. Bake, uncovered, at 375\u00b0 for 55 to 60 minutes. Sprinkle top with cheese before baking. Cool before slicing.
