Chow Mein - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. fresh egg noodles
    1/2 c. Chinese peas
    1/2 onion
    2 stalks celery
    2 large Chinese mushrooms or fresh mushrooms
    1/2 lb. fresh bean sprouts
    1/2 lb. bok choy or nappa
    1/2 lb. flank, lean pork or chicken
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. sugar
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 Tbsp. soy sauce
    black pepper
    1 Tbsp. oil
    1 egg
    2 to 3 stalks green onions
    1 tsp. sherry
    1 c. water
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 Tbsp. soy sauce
Preparation
    String peas, slice onions, slice mushrooms, cut celery diagonally and cut flank or pork across the grain and then into small pieces.
    Marinate meat in a mixture of cornstarch, soy sauce, pepper, salt, sugar, sherry and 1 tablespoon vegetable oil. Mix 1 cup water, 2 tablespoons cornstarch and 1 tablespoon soy sauce and set aside.
