Oven Swiss Steak - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. round steak (3/4 inch thick)
1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 (16 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
1/2 c. chopped celery
1/2 c. diced carrot
2 Tbsp. chopped onion
1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 c. shredded cheese
Preparation

Cut meat into serving portions.
Mix flour and salt; pound into meat.
Brown meat in small amount of hot shortening.
Place meat in shallow baking dish.
Blend remaining flour with drippings in skillet.
Add remaining ingredients except cheese.
Pour over meat; cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 2 hours or until tender.
Top with cheese.
