Layered Tortilla Pie(Mexican Casserole) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 (2 1/4 oz.) can sliced black olives
    1 Tbsp. chili powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    6 corn tortillas, buttered
    2 c. shredded Cheddar
    1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Brown beef, onion and garlic in 1 tablespoon butter or margarine.
    Drain.
    Add tomato sauce, olives, chili powder, salt and pepper.
    In a round 2-quart casserole dish, alternate layers of tortillas, meat sauce and 1 1/2 cups cheese.
    Sprinkle remaining 1/2 cup cheese over top.
    Pour water at edge of casserole into bottom.
    Cover and bake at 400\u00b0 for 25 minutes. Uncover; let stand for 5 minutes before cutting into wedges. Serves 4.
