Cherry Delight - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. flour
4 Tbsp. margarine
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 can cherry pie mix
1/2 pt. whipping cream
3 oz. cream cheese
1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Combine first 7 ingredients.
Press into greased 9 x 9-inch pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
Cool.
Whip the cream.
Blend softened cream cheese with powdered sugar and vanilla.
Fold in whipped cream to cream cheese mixture.
Spread on crust.
Top cream layer with cherry pie filling.
Refrigerate 4 or more hours. Garnish with more whipped cream before serving.
