Penuche(Candy) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. sweet milk
    1 c. walnuts
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix ingredients together and cook to soft ball stage.
    Cool to lukewarm and beat until creamy.
    Pour on a greased plate and cut. Do not add walnuts until ready to pour.
