Red Beans And Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. kidney beans
    4 smoked ham hocks
    3 bay leaves
    1 green bell pepper, chopped
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 large clove garlic, pressed
    1 c. chopped celery
    1/2 tsp. thyme
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
    hot cooked rice
Preparation
    Soak beans overnight.
    Drain.
    Cover ham hocks with water. Cook 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
    Remove meat from bones.
    Add meat, beans and rest of ingredients to stock.
    Simmer covered for 2 hours. Stir occasionally.
    Serve over hot rice.
