Barbecue Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. tomato catsup (32 oz.)
    1 qt. chili sauce
    1 c. cider vinegar
    1 c. prepared mustard
    3/4 c. brown sugar, packed firm
    2 c. water
    2 c. onions, chopped
    2 c. celery, sliced
    1 1/2 oz. Worcestershire
    1/4 lb. butter or margarine
    3 to 4 cloves garlic, crushed
Preparation
    Cook celery and onions in butter.
    Add water and simmer until tender.
    Add remaining ingredients and cook slowly about 40 minutes, stirring frequently to prevent burning.
    Place in jars and keep refrigerated.
    If sauce is not used within several days, freeze the sauce.
