Banana Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/3 c. flour
    dash of salt
    2 c. milk
    3 egg yolks
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    45 vanilla wafers, divided
    5 or 6 ripe bananas, sliced
Preparation
    In top of double boiler, combine sugar, flour and salt. Blend with dry ingredients the milk; stirring constantly, add egg yolks.
    Cook 10 to 12 minutes, then add vanilla.
    Spread a small amount of custard on bottom of 1 1/2-quart casserole.
    Cover with layer of wafers and layer of bananas.
    Cover with 1/2 of custard; repeat for 3 layers.
