Possum And Sweet Taters - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 possum
sweet taters
water
salt
lard
Preparation
-
Pour
a
large\tkettleful
of hot water in a convenient vessel,
add
a
small shovel of ashes, then put the possum in this.
Do
not have the water as hot as for scalding chickens. Turn the possum around until the skin is loosened and you will have no trouble in skinning him perfectly clean.

entrails.
