Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
1 envelope unflavored gelatin
1 small can crushed pineapple (do not drain)
8 oz. cream cheese
1 large container Cool Whip
crushed nuts (1/2 c. or more)
food coloring (if desired)
Preparation

Let sugar, water, gelatin and pineapple boil about 5 minutes. Add cream cheese, Cool Whip and crushed nuts.
Add food coloring, if desired.
Chill and serve.
