"Speedie" Roll Dough - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 1/4 c. flour
1 c. warm water
1/4 c. sugar
1 pkg. dry yeast
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. flour
1 egg
1/4 c. shortening
Preparation

Measure 3 1/4 cups
flour and sift.
Combine warm water, sugar and yeast.
Stir until dissolved.
Add salt and 1 cup flour.
Beat 2 minutes with mixer.
Add 1 egg and shortening. Beat 1 minute; work in remaining flour.
Cover and let rest 20 minutes.
Shape dough into desired shapes.
Place in greased pan. Cover; let rise in warm place 40 to 45 minutes.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 18 to 20 minutes.
Brush with melted butter.
