Unsweetened Muffins - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sifted flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 egg, beaten
1 c. milk
3 Tbsp. shortening, melted
Preparation

Sift flour; measure 2 cups.
Add baking powder, salt and sugar; mix well.
Sift into a mixing bowl.
Beat egg until foamy, then stir in milk and melted shortening.
Add to flour mixture, stirring only until mixed, not smooth.
With spoon, dip batter into muffin pans.
Bake in a 425\u00b0 oven for 25 minutes.
