Cheese Straws - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. New York sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
    1 c. butter
    3 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. red pepper
Preparation
    Cream cheese and butter. Add dry ingredients and mix well. Press onto ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
    Transfer to wire rack to cool or serve warm.
    Yields 3 dozen.
