Fresh Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. apples, peeled and sliced or diced
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. oil
    1 c. coarsely chopped nuts
    2 well beaten eggs
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix apples and sugar together.
    Add oil, nuts, beaten eggs and vanilla.
    Sift together the flour, soda, cinnamon and salt.
    Add to batter.
    Mix until blended.
    Turn into greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0
    for 1 hour or until cake shrinks from sides of pan.
    Frost with powdered sugar glaze or put on Dream Whip.
