Kool-Aid Jelly - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 envelope Kool-Aid unsweetened mix (any flavor)
    3 c. boiling water
    1 box Sure-Jell
    3 c. sugar
Preparation
    Stir Kool-Aid mix with water until dissolved.
    Mix Sure-Jell in separate small bowl with 1/2 cup sugar.
    Gradually stir into Kool-Aid, mixing thoroughly.
    Set aside 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Stir in remaining sugar gradually.
    Continue to stir until completely dissolved and no longer grainy.
    (Any small lumps will disappear after jelly stands overnight.)
    Pour into clean, dry containers, filling to with 1/2-inch of tops.
    Cover with tight lids.
    Stand at room temperature overnight.
    Store in freezer.
    Refrigerate after opening.
    Makes 4 (8 ounce) containers.
