Pumpkin Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 unbaked 9-inch deep dish pie shell (4 cup volume)
    4 eggs
    1 (16 oz.) can pumpkin (2 c.)
    3/4 c. granulated sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. ground ginger
    1/4 tsp. ground cloves
    1 (12 oz.) can undiluted evaporated milk
Preparation
    Beat eggs; stir in remaining ingredients in order given.
    Pour into pie shell.
    Have oven preheated at 400\u00b0.
    Bake 15 minutes. Reduce temperature to 350\u00b0.
    Bake for 50 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
    Cool on wire rack.
    Can be served plain or with whipped topping.
    Also can garnish top with candied walnuts or pecans.
