Everlasting Bran Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. 100% bran cereal
    2 c. boiling water
    3 c. sugar
    1 c. oil
    1 tsp. salt
    4 c. buttermilk
    5 c. whole wheat flour
    4 c. 40% bran flakes
    4 eggs
    5 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Mix boiling water and 100% bran.
    Cool.
    Blend oil and sugar; add eggs, salt and soda and beat together.
    Add buttermilk, flour and 40% bran flakes.
    Stir in the cooled mixture.
    Bake in greased muffin tins at 400\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
    Batter can be stored up to 3 weeks in fridge.
    Makes 5 dozen regular or 10 dozen small.
