Macaroni Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 boxes ring macaroni
    1 stalk celery, diced
    1 medium onion, diced
    1 jar pimiento, minced
    2 cooked chickens, cut up
    1 jar pickle relish
    1 lb. American cheese, cubed
    2-1/2 qts. mayonnaise
    1/2 qt. cream
    Salt and pepper to taste
    2 heads lettuce, shredded
Preparation
    Cook macaroni per package directions; drain and cool.
    In a large bowl, mix together cool macaroni, celery, onion, pimiento, chicken chunks, pickle relish, and American cheese cubes.
    Stir together the mayonnaise and cream and pour over the chicken mixture; mix well.
    Place shredded lettuce on plates and top with chicken mixture.
    Serve with crackers.
