Little Hamburger Patties With Onion And Gravy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. hamburger
    Crisco
    flour
    water
    1 small onion, finely chopped
    salt to taste
    pepper to taste
Preparation
    Combine hamburger and onion. Make little patties about the size of silver dollars. Dip in flour to coat. Set aside. In medium-hot skillet, melt 2 to 3 tablespoons shortening. Add patties and fry until fully cooked. Mix flour and warm water in airtight container. Shake until flour is dissolved. Add additional water to hot grease, then add flour/water mixture and stir until you have gravy. Pour gravy over patties and serve.
