Sweet Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. sweet potatoes, cooked, peeled and cubed
    1/2 c. finely chopped onion
    1 c. chopped green pepper
    1 1/2 tsp. salt (optional)
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 1/2 c. light mayonnaise
    dash hot pepper sauce (optional)
Preparation
    Combine first five ingredients in a large bowl. Stir in mayonnaise and hot pepper sauce.
    Mix well.
    Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour before serving.
