Almond Burgers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. brown rice, cooked with salt
    2 c. almonds, ground
    1 c. whole wheat bread crumbs or 1/2 crumbs and 1/2 bran
    4 tsp. parsley, freshly chopped
    4 Tbsp. tomato soup (undiluted)
    1/4 tsp. sage
    1/2 tsp. thyme
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    1 small onion, diced
    1 tsp. lemon peel
    1/4 tsp. sweet basil
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Combine ingredients and form into patties.
    Fry in lightly oiled skillet until brown.
    While browning, heat 2 cans of tomato soup, diluted with 1 can water in a pan.
    When patties are brown, turn into the tomato sauce and let simmer for 10 to 15 minutes. Serve with mashed potatoes and salad.
    Serves 4 to 6.
