Borracho Beans - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. pinto beans
salt pork
1 bundle cilantro, chopped
1 onion, chopped
1 tomato, chopped
2 or 3 Serrano or jalapeno peppers, sliced (optional)
1 beer
1 lb. bacon
Preparation

Cook beans with salt pork until tender (3 to 4 hours approximately).
Fry bacon, onion and tomato.
Add to cooked beans.
Add hot peppers, cilantro and beer.
Boil 15 to 20 minutes.
