Shrimp With Apples And Snow Peas - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. snow peas, remove strings and trim
6 Tbsp. butter
2 large Granny Smith apples, peeled and cut into thick slices
2 Tbsp. granulated sugar
1/2 c. finely minced yellow onion
2 lb. medium shrimp, shelled and deveined
3/4 c. dry white wine or vermouth
2/3 c. Dijon style mustard
3/4 c. heavy cream or creme fraiche
Preparation

Drop cleaned snow peas into a pot of boiling water.
When tender, but still crunchy, after about 3 minutes, drain them and plunge immediately into ice water to stop cooking and set color. Reserve.
