Apricot-Oatmeal Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. flour
    1 1/4 c. oatmeal (uncooked, quick cooking)
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    3/4 c. butter or margarine, melted
    2 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 (10 oz.) jar apricot preserves
    1/2 c. flaked coconut
Preparation
    Combine flour, oats,
    sugar
    and
    soda in a large bowl; blend well.
    Add\tbutter\tand
    vanilla;
    mix
    until
    crumbly. Reserve 1 cup
    of
    the mixture.
    Press remaining crumb mixture into a greased
    13
    x 9-inch pan.\tSpread apricot preserves on crust to within
    1/4
    inch
    from
    edge
    of pan.
    Sprinkle with reserved crumb mixture and coconut.\tBake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes or until lightly browned.
    Cool and cut into bars.
