Sweet And Sour Pork Chops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 pork chops (1/2 to 3/4-inch thick)
    salt and pepper to taste
    2 Tbsp. salad oil
    1 lemon, sliced
    2 Vidalia onions, sliced thick
    3/4 c. ketchup
    1/2 c. water
    2 Tbsp. firmly packed brown sugar
Preparation
    Season chops with salt and pepper; brown in hot oil.
    Drain well.
    Place chops in a shallow dish; top with lemon slices. Combine ketchup, water and sugar.
    Blend well.
    Pour sauce over chops.
    Top with thick slices of Vidalia onion.
    Cover with foil and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Serves 4.
