Heavenly Hash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box Knox gelatine (4 envelopes)
    1 qt. milk
    1/2 c. cold water
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
    1 pt. whipping cream
Preparation
    Put gelatine
    in
    cold\twater to dissolve.
    Add to milk and heat, but do not boil.
    Stir constantly until all gelatine is dissolved.\tThen
    add
    1 1/2 cups sugar.
    Let cool until it begins to\tthicken.
    Add pineapple.
    Whip cream and add 1/2 to gelatine mixture.
    Color
    pink
    or
    green.
    Top with remaining whipped cream.
    Makes a lot.
