Corn Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. buttermilk
2 well beaten eggs
3/4 tsp. soda
1 1/2 c. cornmeal
3 Tbsp. shortening
Preparation

Sift flour once, add soda and salt and sift again.
Add corn meal.
Combine eggs, milk and shortening and add to dry ingredients, stir only until smooth.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
