Sweet Potato Surprise - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. can whole sweet potatoes
    1 1/4 c. brown sugar
    1 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. grated orange peel
    1 lb. can apricot halves
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 c. pecan halves
Preparation
    Put sweet potatoes in greased baking dish.
    In pan, cook brown sugar, juice from apricots and cornstarch until thickened.
    Add apricots, butter, pecan halves, orange peel, cinnamon and salt. Pour over sweet potatoes.
    Bake, uncovered, at 375\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
