Do-Ahead Mashed Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 lb. potatoes, peeled and quartered
    1 c. sour cream
    2 tsp. salt
    1 egg
    2 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    2 tsp. onion salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
Preparation
    Cook potatoes; mash with electric mixer until there are no lumps.
    Mix again, adding all ingredients; cool.
    Put in a greased casserole.
    Dot with butter.
    Cook at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes until heated through.
    Cook uncovered.
    Can be prepared a few days ahead and refrigerated until the day you want to serve them.
    Serves 12.
