East Texas Onion Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    10 sweet onions
    1 c. cream
    2 cloves garlic
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    4 eggs
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. lemon juice
Preparation
    Saute onions in 3 tablespoons oil; cool.
    Mix cream, eggs, garlic, salt, pepper and lemon juice and add to onions.
    Pour into a 8-inch square pan.
    Bake 20 minutes at 300\u00b0.
    Top with deep fried onion rings, bake another 20 minutes until set in middle.
