Cinnamon Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. red cinnamon candies
    1 1/2 c. boiling water
    1 pkg. lemon jello
    1 c. applesauce
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. softened cream cheese
    1 Tbsp. milk
    1 Tbsp. mayonnaise
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Dissolve candies in boiling water; add gelatin, stirring until dissolved.
    Chill until partially set.
    Fold in applesauce.
    Turn into a 10 x 6 x 2-inch dish and chill until firm.
    Cream remaining ingredients together and spread over gelatin mixture.
    Chill. Yield:
    8 servings.
