Caramel Fondue - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (14 oz.) pkg. caramels
    2/3 c. half and half cream
    1/2 c. miniature marshmallows
    1 Tbsp. rum extract
Preparation
    Combine caramels and cream.
    Cover and cook until melted (2 to 3 hours) on low in crock-pot.
    Stir in marshmallows and extract.
    Continue cooking 1/2 to 1 hour longer.
    Serve with apple wedges, pound cake, doughnuts and marshmallows.
