Alabama Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter, at room temperature (2 sticks)
    3 c. sugar
    6 eggs
    3 c. plus 3 Tbsp. unsifted cake flour
    1 c. whipping cream
    1/2 tsp. almond extract
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Heat oven to 300\u00b0.
    Cream butter and sugar until well blended. Add eggs one at a time and beat well after each addition.
    Add flour alternately with cream, beginning and ending with flour. Continue beating and add almond extract and vanilla.
    Spray a 10-inch angel food cake pan with Baker's Joy (the baking spray). Spoon in batter.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 1/4 hours or until cake is a light golden brown color on top.
